Existential Inquiry! by V.N. Giritharan
The question that always haunts me,
Is but the meaning of my own existence.
Is but the meaning of my own existence.
Why were we born, coming into this place?
What indeed is its meaning? What is it?
An answer to this is never going to be found,
This is something I already know.
Yet, behind an existence that seems meaningless,
I choose to believe a meaning does exist.
Therefore, I shall always approach my existence
With a spirit of positivity, yes, indeed.
What indeed is its meaning? What is it?
An answer to this is never going to be found,
This is something I already know.
Yet, behind an existence that seems meaningless,
I choose to believe a meaning does exist.
Therefore, I shall always approach my existence
With a spirit of positivity, yes, indeed.
The question that always haunts me,
Is but the meaning of my own existence.
Is but the meaning of my own existence.
The boundless, endless cosmos inspires sheer awe,
Is even form merely an illusion?—
Such a thought frequently arises, perturbing the mind.
Are form and emotions truly interconnected?
Is there still so much more left to study and learn?
Will the wealth of knowledge offered by the vast, sprawling sky
And the celestial stars bring ultimate clarity?
Will they solve the profound riddle of existence?
Is even form merely an illusion?—
Such a thought frequently arises, perturbing the mind.
Are form and emotions truly interconnected?
Is there still so much more left to study and learn?
Will the wealth of knowledge offered by the vast, sprawling sky
And the celestial stars bring ultimate clarity?
Will they solve the profound riddle of existence?
The question that always haunts me,
Is but the meaning of my own existence.
Is but the meaning of my own existence.
If there are dimensions that exist beyond my reach,
How then can I perceive them?
Yet, I can confidently say that I can perceive
The reality that my existence has its own boundaries.
What does it truly mean to know oneself?
Is it understanding one's existence, or transcending it?
Knowledge, after all, has its own limitations, doesn't it?
Can we break through and transcend the walls of these dimensions?
How then can I perceive them?
Yet, I can confidently say that I can perceive
The reality that my existence has its own boundaries.
What does it truly mean to know oneself?
Is it understanding one's existence, or transcending it?
Knowledge, after all, has its own limitations, doesn't it?
Can we break through and transcend the walls of these dimensions?
The question that always haunts me,
Is but the meaning of my own existence.
Is but the meaning of my own existence.
